Following a week at home to work on his game ahead of arguably the biggest tournament of his career, the US Open, Jason has once again taken to the fairways of the European Tour as he works to get match sharp ahead of his trip across the pond following this week’s Lyoness Open Powered by Greenfinity.
This is Jason’s first visit to Austria to take part in this event which has been a part of the European Tour, albeit with a variety of sponsors, since 1990. Having tasted victory on the continent in his days playing on the Alps Tour throughout 2013 winning twice in Italy and once in France, Jason is well accustomed to getting across the finish line when it matters and will be using this week as a stepping stone to what he hopes will be a successful week in Austria and in America.
Currently residing in 158th position on the European Tour Order of Merit and 310th in the world the Kirby Muxloe professional and Mertrux, Crouch Logistics, PING and Crest Link ambassador, Jason, is hoping that the Diamond Country Club, this week’s host venue, will suit his game and with average fairways, good conditioned greens as well as decent weather, the preparation all bodes well for a successful week.=
Jason begins the tournament on Thursday in round one, playing alongside Joakim Lagergren and Eduardo De La Riva teeing off at 9.00am local time.
As always many thanks to all of Jason’s sponsors for their continued support this week, throughout the season and especially before his trip to America.
